Students majoring or minoring  in public relations are encouraged to join UW Oshkosh's Public Relations Student Society of America. A pre-professional public relations student organization, PRSSA is affiliated with Public Relations Society of America, the largest public relations association in the world.

The chapter gives students an opportunity to learn more PR through attending national conferences, guest speaker presentations, professional development workshops and agency and organization tours.
